ومن مسند بني هاشم The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2740
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray Witr with three rak'ahs.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ تین رکعت وتر پڑھتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) teen rakat witr parhte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّهْشَلِيُّ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" يُوتِرُ بِثَلَاثٍ".
