Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 27567
It is narrated on the authority of Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us, milk was presented to him, he asked the women: Will you also drink? They submitted that we do not desire it, upon this the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remarked: “Do not combine hunger with falsehood."

حضرت اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ہمارے پاس آئے، ان کی خدمت میں دودھ پیش کیا گیا، انہوں نے عورتوں سے پوچھا: کیا تم بھی پیو گی؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ ہمیں اس کی خواہش نہیں ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”بھوک اور جھوٹ کو اکٹھا نہ کرو۔“
Hazrat Asma RA se marvi hai ke Nabi SAW hamare pass aaye, un ki khidmat mein doodh pesh kiya gaya, unhon ne auraton se poocha: kya tum bhi piyo gi? Unhon ne arz kiya ke humain is ki khwahish nahi hai, Nabi SAW ne farmaya: ”Bhook aur jhoot ko akatha na karo.”
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ , عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ , عَنْ شَهْرٍ , عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ , قَالَتْ: أَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُتِيَ بِلَبَنٍ , فَقَالَ:" أَتَشْرَبِينَ؟" , قُلْنَ: لَا نَشْتَهِيهِ , فَقَالَ: " لَا تَجْمَعْنَ كَذِبًا وَجُوعًا" .
