The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2825
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever sees something he dislikes in his ruler, let him be patient, for whoever goes against the main body of the Muslims even for the distance of a hand span and then dies in that state, will have died the death of one belonging to the era before Islam (Jahiliyyah).”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص اپنے حکمران میں کوئی ناپسندیدہ بات دیکھے تو اسے صبر کرنا چاہیے، اس لئے کہ جو شخص ایک بالشت کے برابر بھی جماعت کی مخالفت کرے اور اس حال میں مر جائے تو وہ جاہلیت کی موت مرا۔“
Saydna Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs apne hakumran mein koi napasandeedah baat dekhe to usey sabr karna chahiye, is liye ke jo shakhs ek baalishth ke barabar bhi jamaat ki mukhalaft kare aur is haal mein mar jaye to woh jahiliyat ki maut mara.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجَعْدُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ ، يَرْوِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَرْوِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ كَرِهَ مِنْ أَمِيرِهِ أَمْرًا فَلْيَصْبِرْ، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ السُّلْطَانِ شِبْرًا، فَمَاتَ، إِلَّا مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً".
