The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2868
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) intended to enter Makkah al-Mukarramah for 'Umrah, he said to the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), "Your people will surely see you tomorrow, so show them your strength." Then they all went forward until they entered Masjid al-Haram. They all performed the Istilam of the Black Stone, and the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) performed Raml (fast walking) in the Tawaf. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was also with them, until when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached the Yamani Corner, he walked with his usual gait till the corner of the Black Stone. Thus, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did so in three rounds and completed the remaining four rounds at a normal pace.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ صلح حدیبیہ کے بعد جب نبی ﷺ عمرے کے ارادے سے مکہ مکرمہ میں داخل ہونے لگے تو صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم سے فرمایا کہ ”تمہاری قوم کے لوگ کل تمہیں ضرور دیکھیں گے، تم انہیں مضبوط دکھائی دینا“، پھر وہ سب آگے بڑھے یہاں تک کہ مسجد حرام میں داخل ہو گئے، سب نے حجر اسود کا استلام کیا، اور طواف میں صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے رمل کیا، نبی ﷺ بھی ان کے ہمراہ تھے، یہاں تک کہ جب آپ ﷺ رکن یمانی پر پہنچے تو حجر اسود والے کونے تک اپنی عام رفتار سے چلے، اس طرح آپ ﷺ نے تین چکروں میں کیا اور باقی چار چکر عام رفتار سے پورے کئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki sulh hudaibiya ke bad jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) umre ke irade se Makkah Mukarramah mein dakhil hone lage to sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se farmaya ki "tumhari qaum ke log kal tumhein zaroor dekhenge, tum unhen mazboot dikhayi dena", phir wo sab aage badhe yahan tak ki masjid haram mein dakhil ho gaye, sab ne hajar aswad ka istemal kiya, aur tawaf mein sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne ramal kiya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi un ke hamrah the, yahan tak ki jab aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) rukun yamani par pahunche to hajar aswad wale kone tak apni aam raftar se chale, is tarah aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne teen chakro mein kiya aur baqi chaar chakkar aam raftar se pure kiye.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ حِينَ أَرَادُوا دُخُولَ مَكَّةَ فِي عُمْرَتِهِ، بَعْدَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ:" إِنَّ قَوْمَكُمْ غَدًا سَيَرَوْنَكُمْ، فَلْيَرَوْكُمْ جُلْدًا". فَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ اسْتَلَمُوا الرُّكْنَ، ثُمَّ رَمَلُوا، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَهُمْ، حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُوا إِلَى الرُّكْنِ الْيَمَانِي، مَشَوْا إِلَى الرُّكْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ثُمَّ مَشَى الْأَرْبَعَ.
