The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2926

Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) said that the verse "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind..." (Al-Imran, 3:110) refers to those who migrated with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to Madinah.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ «﴿كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ . . . . .﴾ [آل عمران: 110] » والی آیت کا مصداق وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ مدینہ منورہ کی طرف ہجرت کی تھی۔

Sayyidana Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain ki «﴿kuntum khaira ummatin ukhrijat lil nnasi . . . . .﴾ [Al Imran: 110] » wali ayat ka misdaq wo log hain jinhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Madina Munawwara ki taraf hijrat ki thi.

(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ سورة آل عمران آية 110 قَالَ:" الَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ".
