The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2976
Ibn Abi Malikah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Once, Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said to 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah have mercy on him), "O 'Urwah! Ask your mother if your father did not go out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he assumed ihram."

ابن ابی ملیکہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے حضرت عروہ بن زبیر رحمہ اللہ سے فرمایا: اے عروہ! اپنی والدہ سے پوچھئے، کیا آپ کے والد نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نہیں آئے تھے کہ انہوں نے احرام باندھا تھا؟
Ibn Abi Malika Rahmatullah Alaih kehte hain ki ek martaba Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne Hazrat Urwa bin Zubair Rahmatullah Alaih se farmaya: Aye Urwa! Apni walida se poochiye, kya aap ke walid Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath nahin aaye the ki unhon ne ehram bandha tha?
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَرْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لِعُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ يَا عُرَيَّةُ، سَلْ أُمَّكَ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ جَاءَ أَبُوكَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَحَلَّ؟.
