ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2992
Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in his upper room when Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him) came and after greeting, asked, "May Umar come in?"

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ اپنے بالا خانہ میں تھے کہ سیدنا عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ حاضر ہوئے اور سلام کر کے عرض کیا کہ کیا عمر اندر آسکتا ہے؟
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne bala khana mein the ki Sayyidna Umar Farooq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) hazir hue aur salam kar ke arz kiya ki kya Umar andar aa sakta hai?
رقم الحديث: 2873 (حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: جَاءَ عُمَرُ، فَقَالَ" السَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ، أَيَدْخُلُ عُمَرُ؟".
