The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3017
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: Once, I and Fadl were passing by riding on a donkey. At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the people in prayer in the desert. We dismounted from our ride and joined the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not say anything to us.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اور فضل ایک گدھی پر سوار ہو کر گزر رہے تھے، اس وقت نبی ﷺ صحرا میں لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا رہے تھے، ہم اپنی سواری سے اترے اور نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز میں شریک ہو گئے، نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں کچھ نہیں کہا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba mein aur Fazl ek gadhe par sawar ho kar guzar rahe the, us waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sahra mein logon ko namaz parha rahe the, hum apni sawari se utre aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath namaz mein shareek ho gaye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne humein kuchh nahin kaha.
حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" مَرَرْتُ أَنَا وَالْفَضْلُ عَلَى أَتَانٍ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ فِي فَضَاءٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، فَنَزَلْنَا وَدَخَلْنَا مَعَهُ، فَمَا قَالَ لَنَا فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا".
