The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3016
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by a dead goat. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whose goat is this?" The people said: "It belongs to Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Why did you not benefit from its skin?"

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کا ایک مردہ بکری پر گزر ہوا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ کس کی بکری ہے؟“ لوگوں نے بتایا: سیدہ میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم نے اس کی کھال سے کیوں نہ فائدہ اٹھایا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas RA se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah SAW ka ek murda bakri par guzar hua, Nabi SAW ne farmaya: "Yeh kis ki bakri hai?" Logon ne bataya: Sayyida Maymunah RA ki, Nabi SAW ne farmaya: "Tum ne is ki khaal se kyun na faida uthaya."
حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِشَاةٍ مَيْتَةٍ، فَقَالَ:" لِمَنْ كَانَتْ هَذِهِ الشَّاةُ؟" فَقَالُوا: لِمَيْمُونَةَ. قَالَ:" أَفَلَا انْتَفَعْتُمْ بِإِهَابِهَا".
