The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3037
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever attributes himself to other than his father (starts calling someone else his father), or a slave calls himself the slave of someone other than his master, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص اپنے باپ کے علاوہ کسی اور کی طرف اپنی نسبت کرے (کسی دوسرے شخص کو اپنا باپ کہنا شروع کر دے)، یا کوئی غلام اپنے آقا کے علاوہ کسی اور کو اپنا آقا کہنا شروع کر دے، اس پر اللہ کی، فرشتوں کی اور تمام لوگوں کی لعنت ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jo shakhs apne baap ke alawa kisi aur ki taraf apni nisbat kare (kisi dusre shakhs ko apna baap kehna shuru kar de), ya koi ghulam apne aaqa ke alawa kisi aur ko apna aaqa kehna shuru kar de, us par Allah ki, farishton ki aur tamam logon ki laanat hai."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" مَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ، فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ، وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ، وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ".
