The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3167
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was offering prayer when he and a slave of Banu Hashim, riding on a donkey, passed in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). However, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not break his prayer. Similarly, once two girls from Banu Abdul Muttalib came and clung to the knees of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) removed them and continued praying.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے کہ وہ اور بنو ہاشم کا ایک غلام گدھے پر سوار ہو کر نبی ﷺ کے سامنے سے گزرے، لیکن نبی ﷺ نے اپنی نماز نہیں توڑی، اسی طرح ایک مرتبہ بنو عبدالمطلب کی دو بچیاں آ کر نبی ﷺ کے گھٹنوں سے چمٹ گئیں، نبی ﷺ نے ان کو ہٹا دیا اور برابر نماز پڑھتے رہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz parh rahe the ki woh aur Banu Hashim ka ek ghulam gadhe par sawar ho kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne se guzre, lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apni namaz nahin tori, isi tarah ek martaba Banu Abdul Muttalib ki do bachiyan aa kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ghutnon se chimat gayin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ko hata diya aur barabar namaz parhte rahe.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ ، عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ: يَعْنِي فِي حَدِيثِهِ أَخْبَرَنِيهِ الْحَكَمُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ، عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ، قُلْتُ: مَنْ صُهَيْبٌ؟، قَالَ: رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ، هُوَ وَغُلَامٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ،" فَمَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، فَلَمْ يَنْصَرِفْ، وَجَاءَتْ جَارِيَتَانِ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، فَأَخَذَتَا بِرُكْبَتَيْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَفَرَّعَ بَيْنَهُمَا أَوْ فَرَّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَمْ يَنْصَرِفْ".
