ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3178
Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The example of a person who gives a gift and then takes it back is that of a dog that vomits then goes back to eat its vomit."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص ہدیہ دینے کے بعد واپس مانگتا ہے اس کی مثال اس کتے کی سی ہے جو قئی کر کے اسے دوبارہ چاٹ لے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs hadiya dene ke bad wapas mangta hai us ki misal us kutte ki si hai jo qai kar ke use dobara chaat le.“
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي قَتَادَةُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْعَائِدُ فِي هِبَتِهِ، كَالْعَائِدِ فِي قَيْئِهِ".
