The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3246
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that his maternal aunt, Sayyida Umm Hifaidh (may Allah be pleased with her) presented ghee, cow dung, and cheese to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as a gift. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ate some of the ghee and cheese, but he left the cow dung due to its undesirability. However, others ate it from the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) tablecloth. If it were forbidden to eat, it would never have been eaten from the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) tablecloth.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ان کی خالہ سیدہ ام حفید رضی اللہ عنہا نے نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں گھی، گوہ اور پنیر بطور ہدیہ کے پیش کیا، نبی ﷺ نے گھی اور پنیر میں سے تو کچھ تناول فرما لیا، لیکن ناپسندیدگی کی بنا پر گوہ کو چھوڑ دیا، تاہم اسے نبی ﷺ کے دستر خوان پر دوسروں نے کھایا ہے، اگر اسے کھانا حرام ہوتا تو نبی ﷺ کے دستر خوان پر اسے کبھی نہ کھایا جا سکتا۔
Sayyida Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ke un ki khala Sayyida Umm Hafid Raziallahu Anha ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein ghee, gauh aur paneer ba tour hadiya ke pesh kia, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ghee aur paneer mein se to kuch tanavul farma liya, lekin napasandidegi ki bina par gauh ko chhor diya, taham ise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dastarkhwan par doosron ne khaya hai, agar ise khana haram hota to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dastarkhwan par ise kabhi na khaya ja sakta.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" أَهْدَتْ أُمُّ حُفَيْدٍ، خَالَةُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمْنًا وَأَقِطًا وَأَضُبًّا، فَأَكَلَ السَّمْنَ وَالْأَقِطَ، وَتَرَكَ الْأَضُبَّ تَقَذُّرًا، وَأُكِلَ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُؤْكَلْ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ".
