The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3351
Ibn Abi Malikah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that once Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Urwah ibn Zubayr (may Allah have mercy on him), "O Urwah! Ask your mother if your father did not accompany the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) without entering into the state of Ihram?"

ابن ابی ملیکہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے حضرت عروہ بن زبیر رحمہ اللہ سے فرمایا: اے عروہ! اپنی والدہ سے پوچھئے، کیا آپ کے والد نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نہیں آئے تھے کہ انہوں نے احرام نہیں باندھا تھا؟
Ibn Abi Malikah rahmahullah kahte hain ki ek martaba Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair rahmahullah se farmaya: Aye Urwah! Apni walida se poochhiye, kya aap ke walid Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath nahin aaye the ki unhon ne ehram nahin bandha tha?
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ الْوَرْدِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لِعُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ يَا عُرْوَةُ، سَلْ أُمَّكَ: أَلَيْسَ قَدْ جَاءَ أَبُوكَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَحَلَّ؟.
