ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3379
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) hugged me and prayed for me: "O Allah! Grant him the knowledge of the Book."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھے بھینچ کر یہ دعا فرمائی: «اَللّٰهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ الْكِتَابَ» ”اے اللہ! اسے کتاب کا علم عطا فرما۔“
Saina Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ke aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe bheench kar yeh dua farmaai: Allahumma Allim Hut Taqitab. Ae Allah ise kitab ka ilm ata farma.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَنْبَأَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : ضَمَّنِي إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَقَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ الْكِتَابَ".
