ومن مسند بني هاشم

The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3386

Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I looked into Paradise and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were the poor, and I looked into Hellfire and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”میں نے جنت میں جھانک کر دیکھا تو مجھے اہل جنت میں اکثریت فقراء کی دکھائی دی، اور جب میں نے جہنم میں جھانک کر دیکھا تو وہاں مجھے اکثریت خواتین کی دکھائی دی۔“

Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Main ne Jannat mein jhank kar dekha to mujhe ahl Jannat mein aksariyat fuqara ki dikhayi di, aur jab main ne Jahannam mein jhank kar dekha to wahan mujhe aksariyat khawateen ki dikhayi di.”

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَنْبَأَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيِّ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنًَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" اطَّلَعْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ، وَاطَّلَعْتُ فِي النَّارِ، فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءَ".
