ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3396
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not pray inside the Ka'bah, rather he stood facing its different corners.
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بیت اللہ میں نماز نہیں پڑھی، البتہ اس کے مختلف کونوں کی طرف رخ انور کر کے کھڑے ہوئے ہیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas raziallahu anhuma se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Baitullah mein namaz nahi parhi, albatta iske mukhtalif konon ki taraf rukh anwar kar ke kharay huye hain.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَنْبَأَنَا لَيْثٌ ، قَالَ: قَالَ طَاوُسٌ : قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ " إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُصَلِّ فِيهِ، وَلَكِنَّهُ اسْتَقْبَلَ زَوَايَاهُ".
