The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3401
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, concerning Laylat al-Qadr: “Seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadan, on the night when nine remain, or when seven remain, or when five remain.”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے شب قدر کے متعلق فرمایا کہ ”اسے رمضان کے عشرہ اخیرہ میں تلاش کرو، نو راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر، یا پانچ راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر، یا سات راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Shab e Qadr ke mutalliq farmaya keh "ise Ramzan ke Ashra Akhirra mein talaash karo, nau raatain baqi reh jaane par, ya paanch raatain baqi reh jaane par, ya saat raatain baqi reh jaane par."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَنْبَأَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، فِي تَاسِعَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ خَامِسَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ سَابِعَةٍ تَبْقَى".
