The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3450
Ata' bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that once Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Should I not show you how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed wudu?" Then he asked for some water and, scooping it with his right hand, he began to pour it over his left hand.

عطاء بن یسار رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: کیا میں تمہیں نبی ﷺ کا وضو کرنے کا طریقہ نہ بتاؤں؟ یہ کہہ کر پانی منگوایا اور دائیں ہاتھ سے چلو بھر کر بائیں ہاتھ پر پانی ڈالنے لگے۔
Ata bin Yasar rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke ek martaba Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya: kya main tumhen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka wazu karne ka tarika na bataun? Yeh keh kar pani mangwaya aur daen hath se chullu bhar kar baen hath par pani dalne lage.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِوُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ، فَجَعَل يَغْرِفُ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى، ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى الْيُسْرَى".
