The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3460
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out for the conquest of Makkah, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was fasting. But when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached a place called Kadid, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) broke his fast.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب فتح مکہ کے لئے روانہ ہوئے تو آپ ﷺ روزے سے تھے، لیکن جب مقام کدید میں پہنچے تو آپ ﷺ نے روزہ توڑ دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab Fath Makkah ke liye rawana huye to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) roze se the, lekin jab maqam Kadid mein pahunche to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne roza tod diya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ، فَصَامَ حتى بَلَغَ الكَدِيدَ، أَفْطَر".
