Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3687
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Bad omen is a form of shirk (polytheism). None of us is free from it, but Allah removes it through reliance (on Him)."

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”بد شگونی شرک ہے، ہم میں سے کوئی شخص ایسا نہیں ہے، لیکن یہ کہ اللہ اسے توکل کے ذریعے ختم کر دے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Bad shagooni shirk hai, hum mein se koi shakhs aisa nahin hai, lekin yah ki Allah use tawakkul ke zariye khatam kar dega”.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الطِّيَرَةُ شِرْكٌ"، وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا، وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يُذْهِبُهُ بِالتَّوَكُّلِ".
