Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3821
Narrated by Sayyidina Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the last third of the night remains, Allah Almighty, in accordance with His Majesty, descends to the lowest heaven, the gates of the heavens are opened and Allah spreads out His Hands and says: 'Is there anyone who asks, so that his request may be granted?' And this continues until the break of dawn."

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب رات کا آخری تہائی حصہ باقی رہ جاتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی شان کے مطابق آسمان دنیا پر نزول اجلال فرماتے ہیں، آسمانوں کے دروازے کھول دیئے جاتے ہیں اور اللہ اپنے ہاتھوں کو پھیلا کر فرماتے ہیں: ”ہے کوئی مانگنے والا کہ اس کی درخواست پوری کی جائے؟“ اور یہ سلسلہ طلوع فجر تک چلتا رہتا ہے۔“
Syedna Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Jab raat ka aakhri tehai hissa baqi reh jata hai to Allah Ta'ala apni shan ke mutabiq asman duniya par nuzool ijal farmaate hain, asmanon ke darwaze khol diye jate hain aur Allah apne hathon ko phela kar farmaate hain: “Hai koi mangne wala ke uski darkhwast puri ki jaye?” aur yeh silsila طلوع fajr tak chalta rehta hai.”
(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" إِذَا كَانَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْبَاقِي يَهْبِطُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، ثُمَّ يَفْتَحُ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ يَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ، فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى سُؤْلَهُ؟ وَلَا يَزَالُ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى يَسْطَعَ الْفَجْرُ".
