مسنَد عبد الله بن مسعود رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3846
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): I have memorized seventy Surahs directly from the blessed mouth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) was one of the scribes of revelation who used to have sheep.

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے مبارک منہ سے سن کر ستر سورتیں پڑھی ہیں، اور سیدنا زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ کاتبان وحی میں سے تھے جن کی مینڈھیاں تھیں۔
Sayyida Ibne Masood Raza Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke mubarak munh se sunkar sattar surtein parhi hain, aur Sayyida Zaid bin Sabit Raza Allaho Anho katban wahi mein se thay jin ki mendhiyan thin.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ خُمَيْرِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ:" قَرَأْتُ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعِينَ سُورَةً، وَإِنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ لَهُ ذُؤَابَةٌ فِي الْكُتَّابِ".
