Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3869
It was narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever has a need and he starts mentioning it to the people, then he deserves that his need should not be fulfilled, and whoever mentions it to Allah, then Allah will grant him immediate provision or a delayed death.”

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جس شخص کو کوئی ضرورت پیش آئے اور وہ اسے لوگوں کے سامنے بیان کرنا شروع کر دے، وہ اس بات کا مستحق ہے کہ اس کا کام آسان نہ ہو، اور جو شخص اسے اللہ کے سامنے بیان کرے تو اللہ اسے فوری رزق یا تاخیر کی موت عطا فرما دے گا۔“
Syedna Ibn Masood razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jis shakhs ko koi zaroorat pesh aaye aur woh use logon ke samne bayan karna shuru kar de, woh is baat ka mustahiq hai ke uska kaam aasan na ho, aur jo shakhs use Allah ke samne bayan kare to Allah use fauri rizq ya takheer ki maut ata farma dega.“
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْمَطْمُورَةِ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فَاقَةٌ، فَأَنْزَلَهَا بِالنَّاسِ لَمْ تُسَدَّ فَاقَتُهُ، وَمَنْ أَنْزَلَهَا بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، أَوْشَكَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِالْغِنَى إِمَّا أَجَلٌ عَاجِلٌ، أَوْ غِنًى عَاجِلٌ".
