Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3923
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Paradise is closer to you than your shoelace, and so is the Hellfire."

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جنت تمہارے جوتوں کے تسموں سے بھی زیادہ تمہارے قریب ہے، اور یہی حال جہنم کا بھی ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu farmate hain ki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Jannat tumhare jooton ke tasmon se bhi zyada tumhare qareeb hai, aur yahi haal jahannam ka bhi hai.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْجَنَّةُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ شِرَاكِ نَعْلِهِ، وَالنَّارُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ".
