Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4219
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is afflicted with a need and he begins to mention it to the people, then he deserves that his need not be fulfilled, and whoever mentions it to Allah, then Allah will give him immediate provision or delay his death."

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جس شخص کو کوئی ضرورت پیش آئے اور وہ اسے لوگوں کے سامنے بیان کرنا شروع کر دے، وہ اس بات کا مستحق ہے کہ اس کا کام آسان نہ ہو، اور جو شخص اسے اللہ کے سامنے بیان کرے تو اللہ اسے فوری رزق یا تاخیر کی موت عطا فرما دے گا۔“
Syedna Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jis shakhs ko koi zaroorat pesh aaye aur wo use logon ke samne bayan karna shuru kar de, wo is baat ka mustahiq hai ki uska kaam asaan na ho, aur jo shakhs use Allah ke samne bayan kare to Allah usey fori rizq ya takheer ki mout ata farma dega".
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَنْ نَزَلَتْ بِهِ فَاقَةٌ فَأَنْزَلَهَا بِالنَّاسِ، كَانَ قَمِنًا مِنْ أَنْ لَا تُسَدَّ حَاجَتُهُ، وَمَنْ أَنْزَلَهَا بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، أَتَاهُ اللَّهُ بِرِزْقٍ عَاجِلٍ، أَوْ مَوْتٍ آجِلٍ".
