Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4480
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) reported that Abdullah, the son of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), came to his father and said, "I fear that there will be bloodshed among the people this year, and you will be prevented from reaching the Sacred House. Wouldn't it be better if you stayed this year and did not go for Hajj?" Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also set out from Madinah, and the Quraysh stood between him and the Sacred House. So, if I am also faced with an obstacle, I will do what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did." He then recited this verse, "Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example…" and said, "I have already made the intention for Umrah." He then set out, and when he reached the place called Baydah, he said, "The matter of Hajj and Umrah is the same." He then said, "I call you to witness that I have combined the Hajj with my Umrah." So he proceeded to Makkah and performed one Tawaf for both.

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس ان کے صاحبزادے عبداللہ آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ مجھے اندیشہ ہے اس سال لوگوں کے درمیان قتل و قتال ہو گا اور آپ کو حرم شریف پہنچنے سے روک دیا جائے گا، اگر آپ اس سال ٹھہر جاتے اور حج کے لئے نہ جاتے تو بہتر ہوتا؟ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ بھی مدینہ منورہ سے روانہ ہوئے تھے اور کفار قریش ان کے اور حرم شریف کے درمیان حائل ہو گئے تھے، اس لئے اگر میرے سامنے بھی کوئی رکاوٹ پیش آ گئی تو میں وہی کروں گا جو نبی کریم ﷺ نے کیا تھا، پھر انہوں نے یہ آیت تلاوت کی کہ تمہارے لئے اللہ کے پیغمبر کی ذات میں بہترین نمونہ موجود ہے اور فرمایا کہ میں عمرہ کی نیت کر چکا ہوں۔ اس کے بعد وہ روانہ ہو گئے، چلتے چلتے جب مقام بیداء پر پہنچے تو فرمانے لگے کہ حج اور عمرہ دونوں کا معاملہ ایک ہی جیسا تو ہے، میں تمہیں گواہ بناتاہوں کہ میں نے اپنے عمرے کے ساتھ حج کی بھی نیت کر لی ہے چنانچہ وہ مکہ مکرمہ پہنچے اور دونوں کی طرف سے ایک ہی طواف کیا۔
Nafe rahmat-ullahi alaihi kahte hain ki Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi allaho anhuma ke pas un ke sahibzade Abdullah aye aur kahne lage ki mujhe andesha hai is sal logon ke darmiyan qatl-o-qatal ho ga aur aap ko Haram Sharif pahunchne se rok diya jaye ga, agar aap is sal thahar jate aur Hajj ke liye na jate to behtar hota? Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi allaho anhuma ne farmaya ki Nabi Kareem sallallaho alaihi wasallam bhi Madina Munawwara se rawana hue the aur kuffar Quraish un ke aur Haram Sharif ke darmiyan hail ho gaye the, is liye agar mere samne bhi koi rukawat pesh a gayi to main wohi karoonga jo Nabi Kareem sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne kiya tha, phir unhon ne ye ayat tilawat ki ki tumhare liye Allah ke Paighambar ki zaat mein behtarin namuna maujood hai aur farmaya ki main Umrah ki niyat kar chuka hun. Is ke baad woh rawana ho gaye, chalte chalte jab maqam Baida par pahunche to farmane lage ki Hajj aur Umrah donon ka mamla ek hi jaisa to hai, main tumhen gawaah banata hun ki main ne apne Umrah ke sath Hajj ki bhi niyat kar li hai chunancha woh Makkah Mukarramah pahunche aur donon ki taraf se ek hi tawaf kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ ابْنُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَظَهْرُهُ فِي الدَّارِ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَا آمَنُ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْعَامَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ قِتَالٌ، فَتُصَدّ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ، فَلَوْ أَقَمْتَ؟ فَقَالَ: قَدْ" خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَحَالَ كُفَّارُ قُرَيْشٍ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْبَيْتِ، فَإِنْ يُحَلْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ، أَفْعَلْ كَمَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ سورة الأحزاب آية 21، قَالَ: إِنِّي قَدْ أَوْجَبْتُ عُمْرَةً، ثُمَّ سَارَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِالْبَيْدَاءِ، قَالَ: مَا أَرَى أَمْرَهُمَا إِلَّا وَاحِدًا، أُشْهِدُكُمْ أَنِّي قَدْ أَوْجَبْتُ مَعَ عُمْرَتِي حَجًّا، ثُمَّ قَدِمَ، فَطَافَ لَهُمَا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا.
