Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4507
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not travel with the Mushaf (written copy of the Qur'an), for I fear that it may fall into the hands of the enemy."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”سفر میں جاتے وقت قرآن کریم اپنے ساتھ نہ لے جایا کرو مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ کہیں وہ دشمن کے ہاتھ نہ لگ جائے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Safar mein jaate waqt Quran Kareem apne sath na le jaya karo mujhe andesha hai ki kahin woh dushman ke hath na lag jaye."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَا تُسَافِرُوا بِالْقُرْآنِ، فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ".
