Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4557
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Kill snakes, especially those that have two stripes and those that have short tails, for they cause blindness and miscarriage." Ibn 'Umar used to kill every snake he saw. Once, Abu Lubabah (may Allah be pleased with him) or Zayd ibn Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) saw him hitting a snake and said: "It is forbidden to kill snakes that enter houses."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”سانپ کو مار دیا کرو خاص طور پر دو دھاری اور دم کٹے سانپوں کو کیونکہ یہ دونوں انسان کی بینائی زائل ہونے اور حمل ساقط ہو جانے کا سبب بنتے ہیں۔“، اس لئے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو جو بھی سانپ ملتا وہ اسے مار دیتے تھے ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابولبابہ رضی اللہ عنہ یا زید بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں ایک سانپ کو دھتکارتے ہوئے دیکھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ گھروں میں آنے والے سانپوں کو مارنے سے منع کیا گیا ہے۔
Saina Ibne Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya saanp ko maar diya karo khaas tor par do dhari aur dum kate saanpon ko kyunki yeh donon insan ki benai zail hone aur hamal saqit ho jane ka sabab bante hain is liye Saina Ibne Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ko jo bhi saanp milta woh usay maar dete thay ek martaba Saina Abulababa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ya Zaid bin Khatab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne unhen ek saanp ko dhutkarte hue dekha to unhon ne farmaya keh gharon mein aane wale saanpon ko maarne se mana kiya gaya hai
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اقْتُلُوا الْحَيَّاتِ وَذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ وَالْأَبْتَرَ، فَإِنَّهُمَا يَلْتَمِسَانِ الْبَصَرَ، وَيَسْتَسْقِطَانِ الْحَبَلَ"، وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَقْتُلُ كُلَّ حَيَّةٍ وَجَدَهَا، فَرَآهُ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ أَوْ زَيْدُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ وَهُوَ يُطَارِدُ حَيَّةً، فَقَالَ:" إِنَّهُ قَدْ نُهِيَ عَنْ ذَوَاتِ الْبُيُوتِ".
