Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4573
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the lizard, so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I do not eat it, nor do I declare it forbidden."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے گوہ کے متعلق پوچھا گیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں اسے کھاتا ہوں اور نہ ہی حرام قرار دیتا ہوں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se goh ke mutalliq poocha gaya to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Main ise khata hun aur na hi haram karar deta hun."
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ . ح وَهِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الضَّبِّ؟ فَقَالَ:" لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ".
