Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4586
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to give land for cultivation and did not see any harm in it. Later, Sayyidna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) informed us that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had forbidden it, so we abandoned it.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ زمین مزارعت پر دیا کرتے تھے اور اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں سمجھتے تھے بعد میں سیدنا رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ نے بتایا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے منع فرمایا ہے چنانچہ ہم نے اسے چھوڑ دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki hum log zameen muzarat par diya karte thay aur us mein koi harj nahin samajhte thay baad mein Sayyidna Rafi bin Khadij (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne bataya ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se mana farmaya hai chunache hum ne use chhor diya.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعَ عَمْرٌو : ابْنِ عُمَرَ كُنَّا نُخَابِرُ وَلَا نَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا، حَتَّى زَعَمَ رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْهُ، فَتَرَكْنَاهُ".
