Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4590
Ismail Shibani, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Once I sold the dates of my garden for one hundred Wasaqs, whether they were more or less. Then I asked Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, about it, and he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade it, but he allowed the sale of 'Araya (crops before they are reaped) with an estimate."

اسماعیل شیبانی رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے اپنے باغ کی کھجوروں کو سو وسق کے بدلے بیچ دیا کہ اگر زیادہ ہوں تب بھی ان کی اور کم ہوں تب بھی ان کی، پھر میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے منع فرمایا ہے، البتہ اندازے کے ساتھ بیع عرایا کی اجازت دی ہے۔
Ismail Shibani rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki aik martaba maine apne bagh ki khajuron ko sau wasq ke badle bech diya ki agar ziada hon tab bhi un ki aur kam hon tab bhi un ki, phir maine Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se iske mutalliq poocha to unhon ne farmaya ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is se mana farmaya hai, albatta andaze ke sath bai arraya ki ijazat di hai.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ : بِعْتُ مَا فِي رُؤُوسِ نَخْلِي بِمِئَةِ وَسْقٍ، إِنْ زَاد فَلَهُمْ، وَإِنْ نَقَصَ فَلَهُمْ، فَسَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، فَقَالَ:" نَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَرَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا".
