Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4614
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sometimes used to offer prayer while leaning on a spear planted in the ground.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ بعض اوقات سترہ کے طور پر نیزہ گاڑ کر نماز پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) baaz awqat satrah ke taur par neza gaad kar namaz parh liya karte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَرْكُزُ الْحَرْبَةَ يُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا".
