Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4637
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Verily, Allah will hold to account on the Day of Judgment every person whom He has made responsible for subjects, whether few or many, regarding whether they fulfilled Allah’s commands concerning their subjects or wasted (their rights). Even (he will be asked) specifically about his own family.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ جس شخص کو رعیت کا خواہ وہ کم ہو یا زیادہ ذمہ داربناتا ہے، اس سے رعایا کے متعلق قیامت کے دن باز پرس بھی کرے گا کہ اس نے اپنی رعایا کے بارے اللہ کے احکامات کو قائم کیا یا ضائع کیا؟ یہاں تک کہ اس سے اس کے اہل خانہ کے متعلق بھی خصوصیت کے ساتھ پوچھا جائے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Allah Ta'ala jis shakhs ko raiyat ka khawah woh kam ho ya zyada zimmedar banata hai, us se raaya ke mutalliq qayamat ke din baaz purs bhi karega ki usne apni raaya ke bare Allah ke ahkamat ko qaim kya ya zaya kya? Yahan tak ki us se uske ahl khana ke mutalliq bhi khususiyat ke sath poocha jayega."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" لَا يَسْتَرْعِي اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَبْدًا رَعِيَّةً، قَلَّتْ أَوْ كَثُرَتْ، إِلَّا سَأَلَهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَنْهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، أَقَامَ فِيهِمْ أَمْرَ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَمْ أَضَاعَهُ؟ حَتَّى يَسْأَلَهُ عَنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ خَاصَّةً".
