Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4652
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), that I offered two rak'ahs of prayer with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at Mina, and also with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and also with Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) in the early days of his caliphate. Later, Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) started offering it in full (four rak'ahs).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ منٰی میں دو رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں، نیز سیدنا ابوبکر و عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ بھی اور سیدنا عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے ابتدائی ایام خلافت میں بھی، بعد میں سیدنا عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے مکمل پڑھنا شروع کر دیا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Mina mein do rakat namaz parhi hain, neez Sayyidna Abu Bakr o Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke sath bhi aur Sayyidna Usman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke ibtidai ayyam khilafat mein bhi, bad mein Sayyidna Usman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne ise mukammal parhna shuru kar diya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِنًي رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَمَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَمَعَ عُمَرَ، وَمَعَ عُثْمَانَ صَدْرًا مِنْ إِمَارَتِهِ، ثُمَّ أَتَمَّ".
