Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4654
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Trim the mustache closely and grow the beard fully."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”مونچھیں خوب اچھی طرح کتروا دیا کرو اور ڈاڑھی خوب بڑھایا کرو۔“

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ، وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى".
