Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4737

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the killing of rats, crows and wolves. Someone asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about snakes and scorpions, he replied that it was also said about them.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے چوہے، کوے اور بھیڑئیے کو مار دینے کا حکم دیا ہے کسی نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے سانپ اور بچھو کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ان کے متعلق بھی کہا جاتا تھا۔

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chuhe, kowe aur bherieye ko maar dene ka hukum diya hai kisi ne Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se saanp aur bichhu ke mutalliq puchha to unhon ne kaha keh un ke mutalliq bhi kaha jata tha.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ وَبَرَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِ الْفَأْرَةِ، وَالْغُرَابِ، وَالذِّئْبِ"، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: الْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ؟ قَالَ: قَدْ كَانَ يُقَالُ ذَلِكَ.
