Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4754
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointed towards the east with his hand and said: "Fitnah (tribulation) will emerge from here."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے مشرق کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور فرمایا: ”فتنہ یہاں سے ہو گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki aik martaba Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se mashriq ki taraf ishara kiya aur farmaya: "Fitna yahan se ho ga."
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" تَجِيءُ الْفِتْنَةُ مِنْ هَاهُنَا، مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ".
