Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4791
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The voluntary prayers of the night and the day are two rak'ahs each.”
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”رات اور دن کی نفل نماز دو دو رکعتیں ہیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Raat aur din ki nafl namaz do do rakaten hain.“
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ الْأَزْدِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى".
