Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4801
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade Ruqba (gifting a property on the condition that it reverts back after the recipient's death) and stated: “The one for whom Ruqba is done, it (the property) belongs to him.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے رقبٰی (کسی کی موت تک کوئی مکان یا زمین دینے) سے منع فرمایا ہے اور فرمایا ہے جس کے لئے رقبیٰ کیا گیا وہ اسی کا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne raqba (kisi ki mout tak koi makaan ya zameen dene) se mana farmaya hai aur farmaya hai jis ke liye raqba kiya gaya wo usi ka hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرُّقْبَى، وَقَالَ:" مَنْ أُرْقِبَ فَهُوَ لَهُ".
