Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4864
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of Badr, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood by the well in which the bodies of the chiefs of Quraysh were lying, and he called out their names one by one and said, “Have you found the promise of your Lord to be true? By Allah! They are hearing my words at this moment.” Yahya says that when this hadith reached Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said, “May Allah forgive Abu `Abdur-Rahman (Ibn `Umar). He is mistaken. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) meant that it has now become certain that what I used to say to them was true. Indeed, Allah says: “Verily, you (O Muhammad) cannot make the dead to hear” and “And you cannot make hear those who are in the graves.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ غزوہ بدر کے دن اس کنوئیں کے پاس آ کر کھڑے ہوئے جس میں صنادید قریش کی لاشیں پڑی تھیں اور ایک ایک کا نام لے لے کر فرمانے لگے، کیا تم نے اپنے رب کے وعدے کو سچا پایا؟ بخدا! اس وقت یہ لوگ میری بات سن رہے ہیں، یحییٰ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو جب یہ حدیث معلوم ہوئی تو وہ کہنے لگیں، اللہ تعالیٰ ابوعبدالرحمن کی بخشش فرمائے، انہیں وہم ہو گیا ہے نبی ﷺ نے یہ فرمایا تھا کہ اب یقین ہو گیا ہے کہ میں ان سے جو کہتا تھا وہ سچ تھا، کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں «إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَ» ى ”آپ مردوں کو سنا نہیں سکتے“ نیز یہ کہ «إِوَمَا أَنْتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ» ”آپ ان لوگوں کو نہیں سنا سکتے جو قبروں میں ہیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ghazwah Badr ke din us kunwain ke pass aa kar khare huye jis mein sanadid Quraysh ki lashhen padi thin aur ek ek ka naam le le kar farmane lage, kya tumne apne Rabb ke wade ko sacha paya? Bakhuda! Is waqt ye log meri baat sun rahe hain, Yahya kahte hain ki Sayyida Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ko jab ye hadees maloom hui to wo kahne lagi, Allah Ta'ala Abu Abdur Rahman ki bakhshish farmaye, unhen veham ho gaya hai. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye farmaya tha ki ab yaqeen ho gaya hai ki main unse jo kahta tha wo sach tha, kyunki Allah Ta'ala farmate hain "Innaka la tusmiu almawt" ya "Aap murdon ko suna nahi sakte" neez ye ki "Ewamma anta bimusmiim man fil quboor" "Aap un logon ko nahi suna sakte jo qabron mein hain."
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمْ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْقَلِيبِ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، فَقَالَ:" يَا فُلَانُ يَا فُلَانُ، هَلْ وَجَدْتُمْ مَا وَعَدَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا؟ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ الْآنَ لَيَسْمَعُونَ كَلَامِي"، قَالَ يَحْيَى: فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، إِنَّهُ وَهِلَ، إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" وَاللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَيَعْلَمُونَ الْآنَ أَنَّ الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَقُولُ لَهُمْ حَقُّ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولُ: إِنَّكَ لا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى سورة النمل آية 80 وَمَا أَنْتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ سورة فاطر آية 22.
