Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4931
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the intention of praying when the sun is setting.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے غروب آفتاب کے وقت نماز پڑھنے کا ارادہ کر نے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ghuroob aaftab ke waqt namaz parhne ka irada karne se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى أَنْ يَتَحَرَّى أَحَدُكُمْ غُرُوبَ الشَّمْسِ، فَيُصَلِّيَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ".
