Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5070
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man stood up in the Prophet's Mosque and asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, from where do you command us to enter the state of Ihram?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "For the people of Medina, Dhu'l-Hulayfah, for the people of Syria, Juhfah, and for the people of Najd, Qarn al-Manazil are the Miqats." Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that later people also said that the Miqat for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam, but I do not remember this.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے مسجد نبوی میں کھڑے ہو کر نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ ہمیں کہاں سے احرام باندھنے کا حکم دیتے ہیں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اہل مدینہ کے لئے ذوالحلیفہ، اہل شام کے لئے جحفہ اور اہل نجد کے لئے قرن میقات ہے۔“ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ بعد میں لوگوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ اہل یمن کی میقات یلملم ہے لیکن مجھے یہ یاد نہیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar RA se marvi hai ki ek aadmi ne Masjid Nabvi mein kharay ho kar Nabi SAW se poocha ki Ya Rasulullah aap humain kahan se ehram bandhne ka hukum dete hain Nabi SAW ne farmaya Ahle Madina ke liye Zulhulayfah Ahle Shaam ke liye Juhfah aur Ahle Najd ke liye Qarn miqat hai Sayyidna Ibn Umar RA farmate hain ki baad mein logon ne ye bhi kaha ki Ahle Yemen ki miqat Yalamlam hai lekin mujhe ye yaad nahin
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَامَ رَجُلٌ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُهِلَّ؟ قَالَ:" مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ"، قَالَ لِي نَافِعٌ: وَقَالَ لِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ: وَزَعَمُوا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ"، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ لَا أَذْكُرُ ذَلِكَ.
