Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5111
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) designated Dhu'l-Hulayfah as the Miqat for the people of Madinah, Qarn for the people of Najd, and Juhfah for the people of Syria. I remember these three places myself, having heard them from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and it has been mentioned to me that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yalamlam is for the people of Yemen." Someone asked about Iraq, so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "At that time, Iraq was not there."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اہل مدینہ کے لئے ذوالحلیفہ، اہل نجد کے لئے قرن اور اہل شام کے لئے جحفہ کو میقات قرار دیا ہے۔ یہ تین جگہیں تو میں نے نبی ﷺ سے سن کر خود یاد کی ہیں اور یہ بات مجھ سے بیان کی گئی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اہل یمن کے لئے یلملم ہے“، کسی نے عراق کے متعلق پوچھا، تو فرمایا: اس وقت عراق نہ تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ehl e Madina ke liye Zulhulayfah, ehl e Najd ke liye Qarn aur ehl e Sham ke liye Juhfah ko miqat karar diya hai. Ye teen jagahen to maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se sunkar khud yaad ki hain aur ye baat mujhse bayan ki gayi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Ehl e Yemen ke liye Yalamlam hai”, kisi ne Iraq ke mutalliq poocha, to farmaya: Iss waqt Iraq nahin tha.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّأْمِ الْجُحْفَةَ"، وَقَالَ: هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثُ حَفِظْتُهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَحُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمُ"، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: الْعِرَاقُ؟ قَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ عِرَاقٌ.
