Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5119
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When one of you dies, his place is shown to him every morning and evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise, then the place of the people of Paradise is shown to him, and if he is one of the people of Hell, then the place of the people of Hell is shown to him, and it is said: 'This is your place until you are resurrected.’”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص فوت ہو جاتا ہے تو اس کے سامنے صبح و شام اس کا ٹھکانہ پیش کیا جاتا ہے، اگر وہ اہل جنت میں سے ہو تو اہل جنت کا ٹھکانہ اور اگر اہل جہنم میں سے ہو تو اہل جہنم کا ٹھکانہ پیش کیا جاتا ہے اور کہا جاتا ہے کہ دوبارہ زندہ ہونے تک تمہارا یہ ٹھکانہ ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum mein se koi shakhs faut ho jata hai to uske samne subah o sham us ka thikana pesh kiya jata hai, agar wo ahl jannat mein se ho to ahl jannat ka thikana aur agar ahl jahannam mein se ho to ahl jahannam ka thikana pesh kiya jata hai aur kaha jata hai ki dobara zinda hone tak tumhara ye thikana hai."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنِ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: أَحْسِبُهُ قَدْ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" إِذَا مَاتَ أَحَدُكُمْ يُعْرَضُ عَلَيْهِ مَقْعَدُهُ غُدْوَةً وَعَشِيَّةً إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَمِنْ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمِنْ النَّارِ، يُقَالُ: هَذَا مَقْعَدُكَ حَتَّى تُبْعَثَ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".
