Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5155
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The reward for offering one prayer in my mosque (in Madinah), barring Masjid al-Haram (in Makkah), is superior to the reward of offering a thousand prayers in other mosques.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”مسجد حرام کو چھوڑ کر میری اس مسجد میں نماز پڑھنے کا ثواب دوسری مساجد کی نسبت ایک ہزار نمازوں سے افضل ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Masjid Haram ko chhor kar meri is masjid mein namaz padhne ka sawab dusri masajid ki nisbat ek hazar namaazon se afzal hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيِّ ، سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ".
