Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5174
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made it obligatory on every Muslim, young and old, male and female, free and slave, to pay one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley as Sadaqatul Fitr.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے چھوٹے اور بڑے اور آزاد و غلام سب پر صدقہ فطر ایک صاع کھجور یا ایک صاع جَو مقرر فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chhote aur bare aur azad o ghulam sab par sadqa fitr ek sa'a khajoor ya ek sa'a jau muqarrar farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ، وَالْحُرِّ وَالْمَمْلُوكِ، صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ شَعِيرٍ".
