Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5189
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer voluntary prayers on his mount, whichever direction it was facing.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنی سواری پر نفل نماز پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے خواہ اس کا رخ کسی بھی سمت میں ہوتا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apni sawari par nafl namaz parh liya karte the chahe us ka rukh kisi bhi simt mein hota.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُمَا تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ".
