Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5232
Narrated by Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that two men from the East came to the presence of the Messenger of Allah. They spoke (and the people were amazed by their eloquence and fluency). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Indeed, some speech has a magical effect."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ مشرق کی طرف سے دو آدمی بارگاہ رسالت میں حاضر ہوئے، انہوں نے جو گفتگو کی (لوگوں کو اس کی روانی اور عمدگی پر تعجب ہوا تو) نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”بعض بیان جادو کا سا اثر رکھتے ہیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki mashriq ki taraf se do aadmi bargah risalat mein hazir huye, unhon ne jo guftgu ki (logon ko is ki ravani aur umdagi par taajjub hua to) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”baz bayan jadu ka sa asar rakhte hain“.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، سَمِعَهُ مِنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: أَقْبَلَ رَجُلَانِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ، فَتَكَلَّمَا، أَوْ تَكَلَّمَ أَحَدُهُمَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا"، أَوْ" إِنَّ الْبَيَانَ سِحْرٌ".
