Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5310
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the hand of a person to be cut off because he had stolen a shield worth three dirhams.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک شخص کا ہاتھ ایک ڈھال ”جس کی قیمت تین درہم تھی“ چوری کر نے کی وجہ سے کاٹ دیا تھا۔
Sayyida na Ibn e Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aik shakhs ka hath aik dhaal "jis ki qeemat teen darham thi" chori karne ki wajah se kaat diya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ" قَطَعَ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلَاثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ".
